Earlier known as “Plaza Cinema” opened in 1933 and was designed by architect Robert Tor Russell (same person who has designed Connaught Place) as part of the Connaught Place development. This theatre with a new & refurbished look has been re-opened in May 2004 by the popular multiplex chain PVR Cinemas. Today everyone knows this as “PVR Plaza”. PVR Plaza is very famous amongst the young people who come here for shopping.

Catch all the latest Hollywood and Bollywood movies in the PVR Plaza. The PVR Plaza is an excellent place to enjoy a movie after a day of shopping or sightseeing. PVR Plaza, situated in the Inner Circle of Connaught Place in Central Delhi was set up in May 2004, with a sitting capacity of about 300 people. This single screen movie complex maintains an international standard of cine viewing with state of the art advanced digital audio and video surround system, and a big wide screen. Besides, the place also has a neat ambiance and comfortable seating arrangements with plush reclining individual seats, enhancing the viewing experience.

The place also has a cafeteria and a lounge from where you can get those much needed snacks and hang out before the show begins. PVR Plaza is one of the most preferred destinations of movie goers to catch up on the latest Bollywood and Hollywood flicks, not only because of its exquisite viewing experience, but also, in its close proximity, there are many places like restaurants, markets, where you can shop or eat out after the movie.

Facility for advance booking of tickets is also available here, so that you can avoid the last minute rush. The theatre shows daily from 9:30 AM to 12 AM.

Classic: Rs. 175, Premier: Rs. 200!

Weekdays:
Classic: Rs. 125, Premier: Rs. 150.
