Copernicus Marg starts from opposite of August Kranti Maidan near famous Indian Gate and ends in Mandi House circle. The road is not too long. Its length will be roughly 1.2 kilometers.
The road was named in honour of European mathematician and astronomer of 15th century, Nicolaus Copernicus.
There are many prominent buildings on both sides of road. You will found famous Baroda House. It’s a zonal headquarter of Northern Indian Railways. When going towards Mandi House circle, you will also find Hariyana Bhawan and Doordarshan Bhawan on the right and LTG Auditorium, Kamani Auditorium, Sahitya Akademi, Ravindra Bhawan etc on the left. Core of Mandi House area lies on Copernicus Marg.
The road is easily accessible through Metro Route. “Mandi House” metro station is the best to reach out there. It’s a minute away walking distance from Copernicus Marg.
